2017 Shredding Event Memories

WE'RE SHREDDING DOCUMENTS AND HUNGER!

Saturday, November 11, 2017, was the perfect sunny day for Grace Advisory Group’s annual shredding event. A certified, mobile high-security shredder on site destroyed hundreds of loads of outdated confidential documents. More than 200 people used the chance to stop by and securely shred their accumulated unwanted documents.

Rib City served tasty BBQ choices fresh from the grill. The entire staff and their families were engaged; helping with the transport of papers, writing destruction certificates, sorting and stacking food donations, and serving drinks.

Robert E. Grace, JD, CLU, ChFC, CFEd, RFC, President of Grace Advisory, said, “We are committed to assuring the total confidentiality of our clients’ personal information. Assuring the same security at home can be a real challenge. Each year, this free service is highly appreciated by our clients and friends.”

As another gift to the community, we encouraged attendees to bring dry and canned goods for the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Our food drive resulted in 908 pounds of food and more than $600 in cash donations for our neighbors in need.

We’re thrilled that we effectively doubled our food drive donations from our 2015 event and look forward to continuing this trend with the help of our clients and the community.
